Being Well Yoga offers workshops that utilize Yoga concepts to enhance your effectiveness in all areas of your life. Our workshop series launched May 7, 2011 with Yoga and Authentic Communication in the Workplace and was a big success! Marketing and Communication for Yoga Teachers is a key part of Teacher Training. Yoga for Communication has been presented at the Austin Yoga Conference as well as at various Austin companies. Come see how Yoga can help you become more effective both on and off the mat!

Stress Less Practice Series
Next Session August 26, 1 – 3pm
Join Lisa in this six-session yoga series to learn strategies and practices to live a vibrant and balanced life–thriving as you deal with life’s stressors, big and small. In each session we will discuss, share, practice, journal, and strategize so you can go home with the tools you need to combat stress before it takes you down. This class is for all levels of yoga practitioners, yogis old and new. The wisdom of Yoga and meditation has wonderful applications for modern life. Come and learn to see your stressors–work, family, relationships, or whatever they are–in a whole new light.

Can you bring Yoga and Mindfulness practices into the workplace to create the calm and peaceful feeling you have after class? And, is it really possible to find your center in the midst of all the stress, tension and general craziness of the office? Well, the answer is ‘yes’! In this workshop, you will learn to use Yoga practices and mindful techniques to help you manage your response to everyday stress in the workplace.
A mindful approach to your work will reap benefits in creativity, productivity and motivation and overall satisfaction each day.
You will use tools to help you identify what sets you off when you are at work. You will take a look at how you respond to those stressors and learn Yogic tools and techniques to alleviate them, perhaps even before they start. You will leave this class with a new perspective, as well as a stress reduction toolkit that you can easily access during the work day. Mindfully manage your stress so that you can be happier and more productive while you work!
